Village bought out the Hoyts share in 1993. In 1995 a third screen was added to make it Australia's only triple
Drive-ln. You can now enjoy Victoria's largest screens and FM stereo sound in your car; a vast improvement
over "Cine-Fi", or if you prefer it an original drive-in speaker!

The bio box is equipped with five Cinemeccanica Victoria 8 projectors and three Speco LP 270 platter systems.
Strong Xenon lamphouses supply the light and Radek Panastereo stereo processors feed the sound to 820
cars. Speakers are still on the ramps if you prefer with a museum of brands including NTS, Brady & GU. During
school holidays early bird sessions are offered followed by the main double.

                                               The Dodge Phoenix Ticket Box

A Dodge Pheonix sits atop the ticket box and antique advertising signs decorate the driveway. Hamburgers,
steak sandwiches, donuts, chips, coke and popcorn are still the staples offered at Coburg. Watch for the Village
drive-in restaurant trailer that runs prior to interval each night. Made 20 years ago the staff appearing in it still
              work at Village!
Today, Rod Chiodo is at the helm at Coburg bringing a new enthusiasm to the "Cinema Under The Stars". Ken
Spicer and Peter Scholes add those extra little presentation touches in the bio. Carhops and diner attendants
complete the first class service offered. They follow on from an illustrious group of people including Keith
Walton, Warren Carter, David Downing, Stan Michaels, Leo Boyle, Scotty Sears and many others.
